Design Services Overview Emcraft has intimate knowledge of the MicroSemi SmartFusion hardware architecture and programming interfaces from years of active participation in a number of projects centered on the SmartFusion and Fusion mixed-signal FPGA technology. Emcraft Systems, in partnership with a U.S. company, for many years has been involved in development and support of management systems for telecommunication platforms. Tens of thousands of devices and reference designs developed by Emcraft’s engineers, including those based on the SmartFusion mixed-signal FPGAs, have shipped throughout the world, integrated into telecommunications equipment from dozens of companies, including many of the largest international telecommunication equipment manufacturers. As a general technology overview, Emcraft has in-depth experience with the Linux kernel and U-boot firmware, with an emphasis on a range of uses in various embedded applications, as well as numerous projects involving the development and maintenance of embedded Linux distributions.
